Most frequent questions and answers

Our standard tour includes round trip transportation from our preset locations, your tasting fees at the wineries, and unlimited water bottles.

Most tours pick-up between 10:30-1130am and drop-off between 430-5:30pm. While on the tour, we typically spend 1 hour at each location. The drive time has been factored into the departure and return times.
We have two buses.  The “Iceman” bus can hold up to 13 passengers and the “Goose” bus can hold up to 10 passengers.  Both buses have plenty of room for extra coolers or your bounty of purchases on your tour.
Yes, they can.  Due to unforeseen circumstances, last minute changes may need to be made.  If this is the case, chances are you will still not be disappointed.  Our local wineries and vineyards are making some pretty great wine.

We love private tours! Private tours are based on 10 or more people.  All seats must be booked in order to secure the reservation. Click here to contact us!
Please do not bring any open containers of alcohol onto the bus.  Our insurance can’t take it.

The pick-up/drop-off time will be determined the week of the tour and you will receive an email of what to expect on the day of.  On the day of your tour we recommend arriving 15 minutes early.  We will conduct a quick check-in and then sit back and enjoy your experience with Idaho Wine Tours – if you have any questions before your tour please email us

We hate that plans may change but in the event that they do, we will gladly reschedule for a future date at no charge.  Otherwise 50% refund is available with 10 day or more of notice.  There are no refunds less than 10 days prior to your departure time.

Maybe, if there are seats available.  Walk-ups will be handled on a first-come basis.  We accept Visa, MasterCard, and AMEX and correct amount in cash money.  Sorry, no checks. 
Anything non-alcoholic is great! We always have a cooler of water on the bus and you’re welcome to help yourself. Outside Alcohol consumption and alcohol consumption on the bus is strictly prohibited and is grounds for removal from the tour.  
We might, we want to make sure you have a great time – and we want to stay in business. So for our protection and the protection of the wineries we visit – we might card you.
No, we ask that you think about the people around you that aren’t smokers and to be polite to them and not smoke on the bus or near the entrance.
Sure can, if you become too belligerent, first you will be warned that your behavior is not acceptable.  Second, I will ask you to call a cab/Uber (at your expense!) and you will not be permitted back on the bus…we will take it from there.

Unfortunately the bus cannot and will not wait for patrons that are late for pickup. In the event that you miss your scheduled pickup you may meet and join us on the tour trial. All Uber, Lyft, or other transportation costs will NOT be covered.

Our wineries are open year round.  Given that we live in Idaho, there is a possibility that we could be prevented from getting around. If that is the case, you will be notified and either rescheduled for a future date or provided a full refund.
